Man 1: When I was 17 years old, right before it was time for me to graduate high school, I was playing basketball and I had like an injury where a guy came down on my tooth and it was like two weeks right before graduation. And at that time, I mean, young, didn’t have a lot of insurance. They worked it out with me without any insurance. They were like, “Well, you know, let’s get this fixed. You don’t want to walk across the stage, you know, with a missing tooth.” They got it fixed, got me a crown, put it on. They right there stood with me even as a young person, a teenager and it just created the loyalty and the bond that I have with them because they were there for me when I kind of needed them. Since that year, I mean, that’s what, 4 to almost 30 years ago, I’ve still been with them.
Woman 1: I highly recommend anyone to come here for their dental care. It’s easy to get an appointment. They seem to be able to get me in quickly anytime I need to. They keep me scheduled for my cleanings and any dental care that I need. If I have a problem at home, they’re quick to get me in the next day or give me some advice or refer me to someone that can help me out. It also helps greatly that they take lots of different kinds of insurances and my insurance plan is one that they accept. And of course that, you know, anytime that you can get some help from your pocketbook, that’s great.
Woman 2: Coming to the dentist isn’t my favorite thing, but with the people here, it’s not bad at all. Everyone here is always happy and positive and excited to help.
Dr. Parker: Here at River Oaks Dental Care, we want to make sure you get the highest quality care in a comfortable and friendly environment.

Helping your child develop and maintain healthy oral hygiene habits is much easier if they are gently introduced to dental care in a fun way. In general, we recommend you schedule your child’s first dental visit between ages 2 and 4. They will have a chance to get comfortable with our team first, so they feel good about the entire dental experience. Over time, their appointments will include traditional cleanings and exams.
